You may remember the tragic Port Hills fire in Christchurch in February 2017 which was officially declared extinguished after 66 days having destroyed 1645 hectares of land.
Hawk were contacted by the Christchurch City Council to supply our trays for the post fire volunteer replanting.
You will see in the pictures below sent to us by the Christchurch City Council how they trays are used to assist in the replanting process. The moulded fibre tray acts as a weed mat when placed around the plant.
